Training and certification

Onboard, train and certify partners. AI drafts the course.

Describe what partners should learn and attach the documents you already have. Partner.io proposes the outline, writes the lessons and questions, and illustrates them. Partners take the course in your portal and earn a verifiable certificate when they pass.

Untrained partners refer the wrong customers, or none at all

A partner who does not know your ideal customer, your pricing or what a good lead looks like will either send you noise or stay quiet. Training fixes that, but building it has meant a separate LMS, a spreadsheet to track completion, and a deck nobody updates.

Courses live inside the portal partners already use. Progress and scores are tracked per learner, stuck partners are visible, and passing can award a badge, move a tier or pay a reward automatically.

A new course. Brief Hudson in a sentence and it proposes the outline, writes the lessons and questions, and illustrates them while the publish checklist fills in.

Building a course

From a brief to a published course. Courses live under Engagement Hub. The first one most teams build is partner onboarding.

  1. [01]Brief the AI, or start blankDescribe the course in a sentence and attach up to 20 source files: decks, PDFs, documents, recordings. Hudson, the assistant inside the editor, proposes an outline of modules and lessons for you to accept, then writes the lesson content, questions and illustrations. Or create a blank course and build it yourself.
  2. [02]Shape the modules and lessonsReorder, rename and rewrite in a document-style editor with images, video and PDFs. Add single-choice, multiple-choice, missing-word, ordering and numeric questions with points per answer. Ask the assistant to draft, edit or comment on any lesson, and it keeps working from your files.
  3. [03]Set the score to continueEach lesson with questions has a score partners need to move on: 70% of its points by default, or a pass mark you set for the whole course. Partners can retry as often as they need and their best attempt counts, so nobody is locked out of finishing.
  4. [04]Choose who sees it, then publishMake the course visible to every partner or only the partners you invite, turn on a guest link for prospects, and attach a certification badge. A checklist shows what is left before Publish is allowed: a title, a description, a cover and at least one lesson. Edits after publishing stay private until you publish again.
  5. [05]Track learners and reward completionSee who has enrolled, completed and certified, the average score and the median time. Stuck partners are flagged after repeated failed attempts; send a reminder to everyone unfinished, or reset, release or grant completion from the row. Passing awards the badge, and a Course completed perk or a Flow can pay a commission, send a gift card or start a follow-up.
Questions

Lessons that check understanding. Every lesson can end with questions.

Single choice, multiple choice, missing words, ordering and numeric answers each carry points, and multiple-choice is scored per option rather than all or nothing. Answers are confirmed as soon as they are submitted; the key to a wrong answer is held back until the course is complete so retries stay honest.

  • A score to continue on each scored lesson, in points
  • Unlimited retries, best attempt counts
  • Course score is the average across scored lessons

Certificates

Proof partners can share. Passing issues a certificate with your logo and the badge current at the time.

It downloads as a PDF, adds to a LinkedIn profile in one click, and has a public verification page anyone can open. Badges themselves live on the partner's profile and can drive tiers, perks and Flows.

  • Downloadable PDF, add to LinkedIn in one click, and a public verification page
  • Certificates keep the badge they were issued with, even if you change it later
  • A Certifications tab in the portal collects everything a partner has earned

Guest link

Train prospects and customers, not only partners. Turn on the guest link and share the public course page.

Guests start with a name and email, receive a resume link by email so they can come back later, and earn a certificate on passing. The completion page invites them to become a partner. You can rotate the link at any time to close old sessions.

  • Public course page with your cover, outline and certification
  • Guests are tracked separately and get no partner rewards
  • A signed-in partner is offered to continue on their own enrolment instead

Source files

Give the AI your real material. Attach the decks, PDFs and recordings you already have to a course.

Hudson drafts from them when your brief names them, and never pulls a file into a course you did not ask for. Lessons themselves can carry images, PDFs and video.

  • Up to 20 source files per course, 50 MB each
  • Images and PDFs in lessons up to 100 MB, video up to 500 MB
  • Files stay private to your company

We're not just seeing more referrals, we're seeing better ones. The quality, the consistency, the visibility. It's all gone up since we moved to Partner.io.

FAQ

Questions about this capability

How do partners get a course?
Publish it. A course set to All partners appears under Training in every partner's portal. Set it to Invited only and just the partners you invite see it; they get an email and a portal notification. Switching visibility never removes anyone already enrolled.
What does the AI use?
Your brief, the documents you attach to the course, and your program's context. Hudson, the assistant in the editor, proposes an outline of modules and lessons first. Nothing is written until you accept it, and everything it produces is editable.
Can I require a passing score?
Yes. Every lesson with questions has a score to continue: 70% of its points by default, or the pass mark you set for the course. Partners can retry without limit and their best attempt counts. The course score is the average of each scored lesson's best attempt.
Can people who are not partners take a course?
Yes. Turn on the guest link. Guests enter a name and email, get a resume link by email, and on passing earn a certificate they can add to LinkedIn. Guests do not receive badges or partner rewards, and the page ends with an invitation to become a partner.
Can a certificate be verified?
Yes. Every certificate has a public verification page showing the learner, course, score, completion date and your logo, so anyone with the link can check it.
What happens when I edit a published course?
Partners keep seeing the last published version until you publish the changes. A learner's progress is pinned to the outline they completed, so restructuring a course never disturbs their record.
Is training on my plan?
Courses are enabled per account on plans that include training. If you do not see Courses under Engagement Hub, ask us to switch it on.
