October 2026

  1. ImprovedReporting

    Refreshed dashboard and analytics

Clearer leaderboards for top partners and reps, and a trend chart that compares each metric with the previous period.

Top partner and top rep widgets are now leaderboards. You pick the metric, and each row shows the partner's logo.

The Analytics trend chart lets you choose a metric and an interval, and shows the previous period as a dashed line for comparison.

Stats stay on screen while you change filters, instead of flashing back to a loading state.

  2. ImprovedPlatform

    Improvements and fixes

Back buttons that return you where you were, consistent delete confirmations, API token guidance, and a refreshed Partner.io brand.

    • Back buttons now take you back to the page you came from, and links inside the app no longer reload the whole page.
    • Deleting a lead, lead payment, reward item, deal or partner introduction now uses the same confirmation. If the delete isn't allowed, the reason is shown. Deleting lead payments is available again.
    • The API tokens settings tab has help and a getting-started guide that opens token creation directly.
    • The app uses the new Partner.io logo and mint brand color.

September 2026

  1. NewTraining

    Courses v2

A new course builder with modules, lessons and quizzes, AI help drafting content, and learner tracking.

Courses v2 lets you build training as modules and lessons. Quizzes have a pass mark, and learners can retry until they pass, with the best attempt counting.

Ask AI in the editor drafts content using the source files you attach in course settings.

Publish when you're ready. Then open Learners to assign partners, send reminders to anyone who hasn't finished, and track progress.

Attach a certification badge so partners who complete a course earn it. An upgrade flow helps move courses from the original editor.

If you don't see Courses v2, contact your account team.

  2. ImprovedLeads & deals

Profile pages for leads, partners and partner reps

Leads, partners and reps each get a full profile page where you edit details in place and see stats, activity and related records together.

Lead, partner and partner rep pages are rebuilt as profiles. Details sit in a side rail that saves as you edit, and the related records are alongside them.

    • Lead profiles have key stats and Overview, Activity and Messages tabs. Contacts have their own section. Revenue shows where each payment came from.
    • Partner profiles let you edit everything in place, including Partner since. Type, agreement and tier have their own cards, and the tier card shows its perks. There is an account mapping summary and tabs for reps, sub-partners, leads, commissions, courses and activity.
    • Partner rep profiles show leads, deals won, revenue, commission paid, a partner score and badges.
  3. NewIntegrations

Sync leads to CRM contacts, and more flexible field mapping

Send new leads to your CRM as contacts, map lead fields onto contacts, and set fixed values for CRM fields.

New leads can now sync to your CRM as contacts as well as leads or deals. This works with Salesforce, and HubSpot was added later in September.

The field mapping editor has a new Contact Fields tab. On HubSpot, contacts use association labels to show their partner and partner rep.

    Mapping improvements:

    • Rep Email is now a mappable field.
    • The CRM field picker groups custom fields first, then core fields.
    • A new Fixed Values section writes the same value to a CRM field on every sync.

Contact sync is being turned on account by account.

  4. NewPlatform

    Explore with sample data

Try Partner.io with sample leads, partners and reps, then clear them all in one step when you're ready.

Accounts that hold sample records see a short guided intro on the Leads, Partners and Partner Reps pages. It suggests what to try, such as signing in to the portal as a sample rep, referring a lead and approving it.

You can add a sample record from any of those lists or from a record's menu.

When sample data is present, an icon in the header shows how many sample records exist. It opens a confirmation listing exactly what will be removed before you clear it.

Partner rep lists also offer a log-in-as-rep action from each row's menu.

  5. ImprovedPlatform

New onboarding and a setup checklist that follows you

A faster first-run setup with suggested company details, plus a setup checklist that stays in the sidebar as you work.

New admins go through a shorter, five-screen onboarding. Where we can, we suggest your company details for you to accept, edit or dismiss. Progress is saved per person.

The setup checklist covers six steps:

    • add partner types
    • add partners
    • invite your team
    • connect your CRM
    • connect Stripe
    • get your first lead

The checklist now sits in the sidebar on every page, collapsing to a small tile when you're away from the dashboard.

The dashboard also shows feature cards, a launchpad of what's available, that you can explore or dismiss.

  6. NewLeads & deals

    Lead auto approval

Approve referred leads the moment they arrive when they match your conditions, with everything that follows approval firing as usual.

Set conditions for referred leads from the Auto Approval button on the Referral Form page.

When a partner refers a lead that matches, it moves from Pending to Approved straight away. The partner is told, and rewards and CRM syncs that run on approval fire as normal.

Auto approval only ever approves. Leads that don't match stay pending for your review.

It runs once, when a referral arrives. Leads you add, import or sync from your CRM aren't affected.

  7. NewLeads & deals

Lead referral form builder and lead fields

Choose the questions partners answer when they refer a lead, and the change applies to every place a lead can be referred.

Leads now has a Referral Form page where you choose which questions a referral asks, in what order and how each is worded. Changes are live immediately.

The same form is used on:

    • each rep's referral page
    • quick refer
    • Refer a lead in the partner portal
    • the Register & Refer widget

Lead Fields is the library of custom fields a lead can hold. Money answers keep the currency they were entered in.

Leads your own team adds can use every lead field you've defined.

  8. ImprovedPlatform

    Improvements and fixes

Account mapping CSV upload and sync now, link previews for your portal, directory controls on the partner list, and more.

    • Account mapping accepts a CSV of your customers, opportunities or prospects, and shows CRM sync status with a Sync now button.
    • Set the title and description shown when your partner portal link is shared, from General Settings.
    • The partner list now has Directory Visibility and Spotlight Status columns and filters, with actions to show or hide partners in your directory.
    • Partner directory profiles now include a link to the partner's website.
    • Each partner's parent partner is shown in the partners table.
    • A This Quarter option was added to date ranges.
    • W-9 actions now apply only to US partners. Other partners show N/A.
    • Opening a lead that no longer exists shows a clear Not Found page instead of loading forever.
    • Partner Discovery has help guides for both the Recommendations and Explore tabs.

August 2026

  1. NewTax

    1099 tax reporting

US companies can track W-9s and 1099-NEC status for US partners, with a reporting threshold and year-to-date taxable earnings.

Tax Reporting Settings in Payment Settings let US companies enable 1099-NEC reporting and set the reporting threshold.

A new Taxes tab under Payments lists, for each partner:

    • W-9 status
    • 1099-NEC status
    • year-to-date taxable earnings
    • tax year

Rewards paid in other currencies show the exchange rate and the value used for reporting.

You can turn the W-9 requirement on or off for an individual partner. Notifications about tax forms link to the Partner Room.

  2. NewPartners

    Partner auto approval

Approve partner applications automatically when they meet your conditions, and test those conditions against a real applicant first.

Open Auto Approval from the Partner Application page to set the conditions an application must meet to be approved without review.

Conditions save as you edit them. Before you switch auto approval on, you can test them against a real partner to see the result.

If you turn it on with no conditions, you're warned that every applicant would be approved, and asked to confirm.

A side panel lists recent runs and the partner each one decided.

  3. NewPartners

Partner application form builder and partner fields

Decide what your partner application asks, in what order and in your own words, with a live preview of what applicants see.

The Partner Application page is now a form builder.

    • Add and reorder questions, and reword built-in fields in your own language.
    • Preview the form exactly as an applicant meets it.
    • Add a question by searching your fields, or create a new field without leaving the form.

Partner Fields is a new library of the custom fields your partner records can hold. Each partner's answers appear on their profile and can be edited in place.

A partner's approval status now shows as a banner on their profile, so you can review their answers before deciding.

  4. ImprovedPartners

    Rebuilt program tiers

A new tier editor that saves as you go, checks each perk as you build it, and lets you test a perk against a real record.

Program tiers have a new detail page and perk editor:

    • Perks save automatically, and incomplete perks are flagged instead of being saved half-finished.
    • Drag perks to reorder them, and rename a tier inline.
    • New tiers can start from a template and include an emblem.
    • Preview a perk's conditions against a real partner or lead to see whether it would apply.
    • Badge rewards use a searchable picker.

A new Lead Won trigger pays a perk when a referred lead is won. Percentage rewards are calculated from the deal value.

  5. ImprovedPlatform

    Improvements and fixes

Monthly invoices, commission export, video in courses, pipeline filters, an optional phone on quick refer, and condition fixes.

    • Account admins can create a monthly invoice that brings every partner invoice from a billing period into one document, with a running total paid.
    • Export commissions to CSV, filtered by status.
    • Quick refer no longer requires a phone number. A Required Lead Phone setting controls whether it's needed.
    • Upload video straight into course lessons. Slide images can now be up to 10 MB, up from 2 MB.
    • Search the pipeline board, filter it by assigned team member, and set the assignee when adding a partner.
    • Conditions now save dates as the day you picked, accept False as a value, and show option names instead of ids in summaries.
    • Mark all as read works again in notifications.
    • A commission's paid date can no longer be set in the future.
    • Fixed oversized badge images.

July 2026

  1. ImprovedPartners

    Faster invites and resends

Invite partners, partner reps and teammates in bulk with one consistent flow, and resend pending invites in a click.

Partner, partner rep and team invites now share one flow. Paste a list of emails, set options such as partner type for each person, and send.

After sending, you see an honest result for every row: sent, duplicate, invalid email, or already invited.

Pending invites can be resent from a row action or in bulk on the Users and Partner Reps lists, and from a rep's page. People who were invited recently or have already joined are skipped and counted.

  2. ImprovedPlatform

    In-app help and getting-started guides

Features now explain themselves, with help banners, a help panel linked to docs, and step-by-step guides when a page is empty.

Many pages now have a dismissible help banner and a help button that explains the feature and links to its documentation. This includes Invoices, Payments, Agreements, Program Tiers, Badges, Events, Courses, Coupons, Account Mapping, the Pipeline, and Lead and Partner Attributes.

When a feature has nothing in it yet, you see a getting-started guide with the setup steps that matter, instead of an empty table.

Search and filter controls stay hidden until there's something to search.

  3. ImprovedPartners

Partner types set a default agreement and tier

Each partner type can now carry a default agreement and tier, and changes can be applied to existing members with a preview.

Partner types are now managed as cards. You can create a type from a template or with your own name.

Each type can set a default agreement and a default tier. New partners of that type pick both up automatically.

When you change a type's default, you're offered the chance to apply it to existing members. A preview shows who changes and whether anyone will need to sign again. You can choose whether to override tiers and agreements that were set by hand.

The Partners table has a Tier column, a tier filter, a Manage Tier action, and bulk Set Tier and Reset Tier actions.

  4. ImprovedPlatform

    Improvements and fixes

Churned leads, rebuilt website widgets, assigned-to filters, rep export, Salesforce sandboxes, and clearer CRM connection issues.

    • Leads can now be marked Churned.
    • A partner's page shows the rewards of their current tier.
    • A new portal setting can stop partners from deleting leads.
    • The custom lead fields editor was rebuilt with a live form preview, drag-to-reorder, and CRM mapping in the same dialog.
    • The Event Calendar, Register, Register & Refer, and Partner Directory widgets were rebuilt. Each has a live preview, autosave with a clear save status, and a ready-to-copy install snippet.
    • Filter partners and leads by the team member they're assigned to.
    • Export partner reps to CSV.
    • Salesforce can now connect to a sandbox org. The CRM settings page lists any connection problems and how to fix them. Partner Manager Name can be mapped to a CRM field.
    • Fixed how NPS scores are calculated in surveys.

June 2026

  1. NewAutomation

    Flow templates and quick setup

Build automations faster by starting from a template, with email steps already filled in.

Creating a flow now starts with a guided wizard and a gallery of templates, with popular ones marked.

When you choose a template, its email steps come pre-filled with the built-in email for each event, so a new flow is ready to review rather than build.

    New triggers:

    • Survey completed, added in June.
    • Partner rep invited, added in August.
  2. NewLeads & deals

    Deal registration

Partner reps register the deals they're working and update them as they progress, so you can follow every partner-sourced opportunity.

Partner reps register deals from a new Deals board in the partner portal. Each deal has its stage, value and expected close date.

You follow along from the Deals page in Partner.io, with a message thread on every deal.

When a deal closes, it's recorded as a lead, and if you have a CRM connected it syncs there too.

Deal registration is enabled per account. If you don't see Deals in your navigation, it isn't turned on for you yet.

  3. NewPartners

    Multiple partner agreements

Keep a library of agreements, set a default, and give different partner types the terms that fit them.

Agreements now live in a library. Each agreement shows how many partners and partner types use it, and one is marked as your default.

Create a new agreement from a template or from blank. The editor includes a menu for inserting variables, such as partner details, into the text.

Set a default agreement for each partner type, then assign it to that type's existing members.

Partner reps who don't need to sign show No agreement. The Terms Signed column is hidden when agreements are turned off.

  4. ImprovedPlatform

    Improvements and fixes

Choose which Stripe coupons reps see, hide lead creation in the portal, survey templates, and newsletter audience fixes.

    • Stripe coupon settings let you show partner reps all of your coupons or only the ones you select. Disconnecting Stripe now also prompts you to remove the installed app.
    • A new setting hides the Create Lead buttons in the partner portal.
    • You can now add and edit event attendees.
    • Start a new survey from a template.
    • Referral Leads is now called Partner Introductions.
    • Newsletters no longer include pending partners when Prospective Partners is off, and the partner rep picker now searches your full list.
    • Empty pages across the app now explain what each feature does and how to get started.

May 2026

  1. NewPartner discovery

    Deal Surround

Enter a prospect's domain to see which partners already have a relationship there and who is best placed to help you win it.

Deal Surround helps you bring partners into a deal you're already working.

Enter a prospect's domain, or paste any URL from their site. You'll see the partners connected to that account, ranked, with a profile and match reasons for each.

Partners already in your program are marked, and you can create a lead with them straight from the result.

If we don't have enough data on the account yet, we start researching it so you can check back later. The feature was previously called Deal Targeting.

Deal Surround is in beta and available on plans that include Partner Discovery.

  2. ImprovedPartner discovery

    Smarter Partner Discovery recommendations

A ranked list of companies that fit your program, with the reasons behind each match and a quick path into your pipeline.

Partner Discovery now shows ranked recommendations next to a full company profile. Each one includes a match score, an AI-written summary, and the evidence and signals behind the ranking.

Companies with a reachable partnerships contact are marked as an easy intro. Companies already in your network are marked too.

Start prospecting adds a company to your partner pipeline. Thumbs up or down on any recommendation tells us how good it was.

A new page also lets you browse and search the company database yourself. It later became the Explore tab of Partner Discovery.

Partner Discovery is available on plans that include it.

  3. ImprovedPartner portal

    Schedule and target announcements

Schedule announcements in any time zone and choose exactly which partners and reps see them.

Announcements can be saved as drafts or scheduled for a publish date and time in a time zone you choose.

You can narrow the audience by partner type and tier, then by specific partners and specific partner reps. The audience size updates as you go.

You can attach an event or a survey to an announcement. For surveys, you can show the announcement only to partners who haven't completed it yet.

  4. NewCommissions & payouts

    Payments dashboard

Work through approvals, invoicing and payouts from one board instead of three separate lists.

Payments now opens on a dashboard with three lanes:

    • Commission Approval: approve or reject pending commissions, one at a time or in bulk.
    • Invoice Scheduling: invoice approved commissions and SPIFFs now instead of waiting for the next cycle.
    • Invoice Payout: mark invoices paid or pay them, with overdue invoices at the top.

Each lane shows its total and lets you change automation and payment scheduling in place.

Payment and invoice statuses were renamed for clarity: Approved, Rejected, Invoiced, Outstanding and Payment Processing. Tables now group Due, Paid and Created dates together.

  5. NewCommissions & payouts

Automatic commission approval and invoice payment

Set conditions once and let Partner.io approve qualifying commissions and pay qualifying invoices for you.

Commission Auto Approval approves commission payments that meet the conditions you set. Each commission's detail drawer shows the latest auto approval attempt.

Invoice Auto Pay pays invoices that meet your conditions, such as an invoice total below a set amount. A sensible default condition is filled in when you first open it. Each invoice's detail page shows the latest auto pay attempt and, if it didn't pay, which condition it missed.

Both are configured in Payment Settings. The commissions table now also shows the invoice each commission was bundled into, with a link to it.

  6. ImprovedPlatform

    Improvements and fixes

Suspend partner reps, pay in Swedish krona, see the partner on every commission, and use coupons without beta access.

    • Suspend and reactivate partner reps from the reps list or a rep's page, and filter reps by status.
    • Swedish krona (SEK) is now a supported currency.
    • Commission and SPIFF tables show which partner each payment belongs to, and you can filter by partner.
    • The Coupons page no longer requires beta access.
    • The Products condition in perks is hidden when no CRM is connected, since it can't match anything without one.
    • Fixed an issue where two events could end up with the same URL.

April 2026

  1. ImprovedIntegrations

    Rebuilt Shopify integration

See every Shopify install, how it was matched to a lead, and the health of your syncs from one settings page.

The Shopify settings page is now organized into tabs: Overview, Installs, Orphans, Suggestions, Apps, Links and Sync.

    • Overview shows key totals, recent sync health, and a banner when the connection needs reauthorizing. From here you can also queue a 30-day backfill.
    • Each install opens a detail view with its attribution, lifecycle, payments summary and full match history.
    • Installs can be filtered by app, match quality, lifecycle, partner and whether they're attached to a lead.

Leads connected to a Shopify store show the store and its installs on the lead.

  2. NewPlatform

    Two-factor authentication

Protect sign-ins with two-factor authentication, and require it for your partners if you choose.

You can turn on two-factor authentication from 2FA Settings. Once it's on, signing in asks for a code from an authenticator app.

Admins can also enforce two-factor authentication for partners from company settings, so every partner rep signing in to your portal uses it.

  3. NewCommissions & payouts

    Gift card rewards with Tango

Connect Tango to send partners gift cards, and offer gift cards as a reward in your program tiers.

Connect your Tango account from the Integrations page to start sending gift cards to partners.

Gift cards have their own Gift Cards tab under Payments. They are also available as a reward type when you build program tier perks.

If Tango isn't connected, the gift card options explain what's needed instead of showing a form that can't be sent.

  4. NewCommissions & payouts

    Pay commissions to partner reps

Choose whether payouts go to the partner organization or straight to the partner rep who earned them.

A new payout setting in Payment Settings lets you pay either partners or individual partner reps.

When you pay reps, invoices name the partner rep they belong to, both in the invoice list and on the invoice detail page.

This suits programs where individual referrers, not their employer, are the ones being rewarded.

  5. ImprovedPlatform

    Improvements and fixes

Badge perks, promo codes for everyone, attribute filtering, account mapping contacts, and flow builder fixes.

    • Badges can now be awarded as a perk reward in program tiers.
    • Promo codes no longer require beta access.
    • The attribute table was reworked, and you can filter the leads list by attribute.
    • Account mapping CSV uploads accept a mobile number column, each matched company has a contacts view, and partner profiles link back to account mapping.
    • In the flow builder, adding another condition no longer resets the choices you already made, and invalid connections are cleaned up before a flow is saved.
    • Checkbox values on lead details now display correctly.

Partnerships without the chaos.
