HubSpot PRM
HubSpot PRM: the partner portal your HubSpot is missing
Partners refer and register deals in a portal on your domain. Every approved referral lands in HubSpot with the partner attached, and what closes in HubSpot pays the partner automatically.
- Two-way HubSpot sync
- Partners free and unlimited
- No credit card required
Why HubSpot alone isn't enough
HubSpot tracks your deals. It doesn't run your partners. Once partners send real pipeline, the gaps show up in four places.
- Partners can't work inside your CRMHubSpot is built for your own team. Giving partners a way to submit referrals and follow them means extra seats, shared forms or a lot of email.
- Attribution lives in properties someone has to maintainA 'partner' dropdown on deals only works if every rep fills it in, every time, and nobody renames a partner.
- Commissions end up in a spreadsheetClosed-won tells you a deal closed. It doesn't approve the commission, invoice it, pay the partner or collect their W-9.
- Partners can't see what happenedWithout a portal, every 'what happened to my referral?' and 'when do I get paid?' becomes a message to you.
How it works
Partner.io sits beside HubSpot, not instead of it. Your sales team keeps working in HubSpot. Partners work in your portal. The sync keeps both honest.
- [01]Connect HubSpotAuthorize with OAuth from Integrations, then choose whether referrals sync as leads or deals.
- [02]Map your fieldsMap each referral question to a HubSpot property, set owner assignment and add any fixed values.
- [03]Partners refer in your portalPartners submit referrals and register deals in a portal on your domain. Approved ones land in HubSpot.
- [04]HubSpot decides the outcomeStage, value and won or lost flow back, so commissions are calculated from what actually closed.
The sync
You decide what syncs, and where it lands. Set it up once in CRM settings. Your sales team never has to remember to tag a partner.
The full field-level detail is on the HubSpot integration page.
- What referrals become
- HubSpot leads or deals, with the partner and rep attached. New leads can also sync as contacts, with association labels, where contact sync is enabled.
- Who owns them
- Assign record owners round-robin, by the partner's manager, or by hand.
- Which properties they fill
- Map every referral question to a HubSpot property, including select options, plus the rep's email and the partner manager's name.
- What's always set
- Fixed values are written on every sync, such as a lead source of “Partner”.
- When it syncs
- Changes sync automatically. CRM settings show when the last sync ran, and you can run one on demand.
- What comes back
- Status, stage, deal value, line items and notes, and your customers and prospects for account mapping.
Inside HubSpot
Partner context on the record your reps already have open. The Partner.io card on HubSpot records shows whether a partner is attached, so nobody has to switch tabs to find out.
With Partner Discovery, the card also lets reps:
- See partners already connected to the account, ranked, with the reasons for each
- Attach a partner to the deal as a referral, without leaving HubSpot
- Add a recommended partner to your recruitment pipeline
Everything else a PRM needs

FAQ
HubSpot PRM questions
- Does HubSpot have a built-in PRM?
- HubSpot is a CRM for your own team rather than a partner relationship management system. You can track partners with properties and pipelines, but partners can't submit referrals, follow their deals or see what they're owed without a separate portal. A PRM like Partner.io adds that layer and syncs it with HubSpot.
- Is the Partner.io HubSpot integration two-way?
- Yes. Approved referrals sync to HubSpot as leads or deals with the partner and rep attached, and status, pipeline stage, deal value, line items and notes flow back to Partner.io. You can see the last sync and trigger a sync manually from the CRM settings.
- Do partners need HubSpot seats?
- No. Partners never sign in to HubSpot. They use your Partner.io partner portal, which is free for partners in unlimited numbers. You pay $79 per seat per month only for members of your own team who sign in to Partner.io.
- Can I choose which HubSpot properties partner referrals fill in?
- Yes. You map each question on your referral form to a HubSpot property, including select options, choose how record owners are assigned, and can set fixed values that are written on every sync, such as a lead source.
- What does the Partner.io card inside HubSpot do?
- The card on HubSpot records shows whether a partner is attached. On plans that include Partner Discovery, it also recommends partners connected to the account, lets you attach one to the deal as a referral, and adds a recommended partner to your recruitment pipeline.
- Does Partner.io work with Salesforce or Pipedrive too?
- Yes. The same sync works with Salesforce, including sandbox orgs, and with Pipedrive, so you can switch CRMs later without rebuilding your partner program.
- How long does it take to set up?
- Connecting HubSpot takes a few minutes. Most of the setup is deciding which object referrals become and mapping your fields, and every account starts with a default tier, referral form and application form, so you can invite partners the same day.
